Raising money for charity is one of several motivating factors that keep me running. In particular, cancer has left many voids in my life:
June and Ron Richards (my Mum & Dad)
David Morris (my father-in-law)
Dave Roberts (my brother-in-law)
Carol and Terry Bennett (my cousin and her husband)
Hillary Metwally and Bryan Cawthorne (both very dear friends of mine)
Cancer can also affect those at the very beginning of their lives and, for this reason, for my South America trip, I have chosen to support CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity.
