We may not all understand or agree with the reasons for some of the current conflicts our brave servicemen and women are fighting on our behalf, but ‘Help for Heroes’ is a totally non-political organisation providing essential support for service personnel who have been injured in the line of duty. While the tragic losses feature on our news screens all too frequently, many more of our service personnel are returning unannounced but wounded, some of these carrying serious disabilities for the rest of their lives. ‘Help for Heroes’ provides the help that they, and their families, require to rebuild their lives.
With my own son serving in the RAF Regiment, it is immensely reassuring to know that such vital support exists, and I hope you will support this invaluable cause.
